I have three Node 202 builds that I want to stack on top of each other for airflow reasons (having them vertical with the stands takes up too much space). I was thinking about having about 6 inches in between each PC to give them room to breath with my most used PCs on the top and the bottom with the middle one being a buffer since it's rarely powered on. They need to be held up independently so I am able to pull the bottom PC out without having to remove the two above it. I don't care about how it looks (although ease of cable management is a plus), functionality over appearance is my motto but the smaller the footprint the better.

Any ideas on how to tackle this puzzle?

Maybe you can buy a few of this monitor stand/riser and re-purpose them to build a 3-floor stack. I ran the numbers, they should fit, not a lot of breathing room though.

Hope this gives you some inspiration.

Wow, I never considered that. That would be a lot easier and cheaper than the solutions I had thought up. :)
