odds are yes as its probably a change in supplier for other parts on the pcb or something as they are both 1tb 860 evo drives i doubt they would change from qlc to tlc or some other nand flash. but one could be dram less which has worse performance and life span

Both are the same drive. Just a different form factor is all. Same performance and potential endurance/life.
