Help me connect the pcie cables to my GPU

Go to solution Solved by Origami Cactus,

On your bottom photo it seems you have 2x 6+2 pin connectors?

So just connect all the 8pins of the first cable, and then only connect the 6pins on the other, leaving the 2pin just hanging.

But they mean that the other 6pin is optional for overclocking, because the rx590 should only draw 150w, so 1 8pin should be enough. (Atleast that was the case with the rx480)

I just got the RX590 by Sapphire. It has a 8+6 pin connector. I just have a 6+2 pin connector (I guess).

Also, the sapphire page says the 6 pin is optional. I'm confused.

"1 x 8-pin + 1 x 6-pin (optional) AUX Power Connector"

Can I connect my GPU by using the cables that I have? Or, do I have to buy one?
