I never knew there was a 3gb version of the 7850. or a 2gb version of the 7770.

but what resolution are you planning to use?

because 3gb is overkill for 1080p. 2gb is enough. and I would suggest the 7850 because its a better card overall.

whenever you can go a single card solution you should do it.

I would go for the 7850 because if you have dual card setups sometimes some games don't fully support crossfire and it causes lots of problems so it is better to stick with a single card setup so you can add another card for crossfire if you wanted to in the future.

Well most new games big games anyway support cfx and 2 good 7770s at 1080p will always be near or even better than a 7950 but if you want multi-monitor or omega high res the 7850 is good a 7870 xt is the single power of these 2 cards so get that.

If you can save just a tiny bit more, get the 7870 Tahiti LE, it's as fast as a 660 Ti & a non boost 7950, but costs 60$ less than either of them.

If you can't afford one get the 7850.
