Im really liking the acer aspire 5  A515-51-573S with an SSD upgrade (different then the one you posted) or

Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-15IKB with an SSD upgrade (also different) 

there both 800$ CAD

Looking for a "good" build quality laptop

NOT for gaming

 

Basically my parents want a stay-at-home laptop, basic usage, no games or editing.

they want it to last for a few years 

 

Don't need 2 in 1 or touch screen 

8 gig ram

I5 6th, 7th or 8 gen

250-500gb SSD

don't need a HHD 

 

750-1250 Canadian would be the budget 

 

Any suggestions would be amazing

Used thinkpads and upgrade the hdd to an SSD

Asus Vivobooks arent bad
