So I just build myself a new pc, specs:

i7 4770k @ stock speed (haven't had the time to overclock yet)
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB @ 1600Mhz
Asus Maximus VI Hero
Corsair H100i /w Dual SP120's
1x AF140 Red LED Quiet Edition
MSI GTX 780 Ti
Samsung Evo 250GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Corsair AX860i Platinum Certified
Corsair Obsidian 750D

After my first time playing battlefield 3 and 4 (1080p,Ultra,2xmsaa). I also have a second monitor hooked up with mostly skype open. I noticed my fps was very unstable and would dip every now and then to 50 fps. I feel like my 780 ti is underperforming. I have installed windows 8.1, grabbed only a couple of drivers for my motherboard from the internet (realtek audio, ai suite3 and corsair link) and ofcourse the latest nvidia drivers.
Does anyone know any good software to stress test my 780 ti  to see if it's performing correctly? are the 50fps drops normal? It also seems like my Fps is all over the place going 130 to 60 in seconds.
First thing I'm going to do tomorrow is a fresh install of windows 8.1 and install the mobo drivers from the disc  that came with to see if that helps.

BF4 has terrible optimisation issues at the moment and even worse so on the nvidia cards. I remember Totalbiscuit mentioning regular drops to 40 fps on SLI Titans on 1080p.

For game benchmarks try Metro LL - if you hoover around 40 fps then you are good :) You can also go for an artificial benchmark like the Firestrike - there's plenty of results online for you to compare.

Really? My 650ti Boost has no issues with BF4. It runs like 40FPS minimum. (Above 60FPS most of the time)

High settings, ultra textures.

There's two possibilities here:

1) BF4 is coded so amazingly bad that there's no difference between mid-range and high-end card

2) You are missing some important settings like AA and the likes :P

Yes BF4 is quite weird I get amazing fps with two 770's I some times even reach the 200 max fps limit, but I get lower than what one 270x would do on both of my 270x's in crossfire its a really badly optimized game but you cant blame them however they were rushed to finish the game by EA. Splintercell blacklist and Batman arkham origins are pretty good for testing Nvidia cards atleast. and crysis 3 if your running just a single Nvidia card.
