I wanna buy a new keyboard and mouse for my main gaming rig. I dont wanna spend too much but I wanna get a good one, at most £100 and mechanical key switches. for the mouse Im not as concerned but I like to stick to same brands mainly. I was thinking about razer or corsair but Im not massive on peripherals. I currently have a cooler master masterkeys lite L keyboard and mouse combo

Razer makes garbage peripherals. Get a Logitech G610 w/ Cherry MX Browns and a Logitech G502, they'll add up to ~$100.

awesome stuff. thanks dude!

Just make sure you get it for a good price.

Here in Canada, I got my G710+ for $50 CAD at Staples (not sure if that store exists where you live). And the G502 can be had for less than $50 just about everywhere.

If you can get to a place where you can experience the different mechanical switches, I recommend that you go try them out, I myself thought I would like brown switches but in reality they mimicked something that I thought felt like worn out rubber dome switches and what i really wanted was red switches, even for typing I love them.
