I'm kinda more for better processor because I can upgrade ram later if needed, what do you think?

I agree.

The RAM can be upgraded in the future if needed, but the CPU can't. So get the model with the 8750H and 8GB of RAM.

Hi guys,

I want to buy lenovo legion y530 with 1050Ti, and have two options for same amount of money:
i5-8300H with 16gb of ram, or

i7-8750H with 8gb of ram

What would be a better option? I'm studying programming and gaming occasionally..

I'm kinda more for better processor because I can upgrade ram later if needed, what do you think?

Thanks.

Go with the i7 and upgrade the RAM later if you find yourself needing more.

It looks like it does have an extra slot open, so it shouldn't be an issue to throw in another 4GB SODIMM.

More cores will be noticable, more ram is only noticable if you dont have enough.

I may be wrong.
