Hey, I am looking into buying a prebuilt pc. The pc has a gtx 1070 ti and a ryzen 7 2700x. The pc has a Thermaltake 600w SMART power supply. I have heard that bad power supplies can lead to it frying your other parts in your pc. The power supply has many good reviews about it. The only thing is it only costs around $50. I have heard that might be to cheap.  First of all I would like to know if Thermaltake is a reliable company? I would secondly like to know if 600w is enough for my specs. Thanks for the help. (Sorry this was long)

See this post for a comprehensive list of good and bad PSUs. I'd stick to tier 1 or 2 for a high-end PC such as yours.

Also, yes 600W is enough for your system.

So since this is a prebuilt should I order a new power supply and replace it? Also if I didn’t would that put my parts at risk of being damaged? (Thx for responding so quick btw)

That Thermaltake unit is not a great PSU, I would replace it. Even if the PSU does not fail the voltage ripple can kill components, a unit like that is very susceptible to voltage ripple under load. A 550w is more than enough, if you are on a budget I recommend the Corsair CX550M, if you can spend a little more look at the following. EVGA G3 or G2, SeaSonic Prime or Focus series, or the Corsair RMx PSU.

Hey so I am buying a prebuilt because I don’t know much about building a pc. Could you by any chance link me to a good tutorial of how to change a power supply. Thx

There's no need to assemble the parts yourself if you don't know how. In my country, many computer stores offer a service of assembling your chosen parts for you for a small fee of $10.

Don't buy a prebuilt from someone who picked the parts based solely on his profit. Buy the best components for your budget from suggestions on this forum, then buy an assembly service from a computer store.
