Cheap home server?

itsMacyyyy

Hi, need to put together a cheap home server PC to host a Teamspeak 3 server and host a small cloud server for myself to access from school and stuff. I want to spend as little as possible on it. I already have a 250W PSU i could use. Need 250GB+ storage from it. Also Im from UK so please post the part list from UK PC part picker :) Thanks.

-500gb Western Digital Blue HDD or similar

-MSI 760GM Mobo.

Just a TS3 and a cloud server?

I would look at what type of cloud server you want to use and plan your build around that.

Not sure how expensive HP Microservers (N40L/N54L) are in UK...but I grabbed myself one for 90 Pounds/$150

They have a nice small footprint, are quiet and are very reasonably priced

I'd personally just use an older computer that's lying around, in my opinion one of the best machines you can use, which you can get stupid cheap on ex-lease, are those IBM thinkcentres.  First gen i5, 4gigs of RAM, generally a 160GB HDD but storage is cheap, etc etc for around 20 bucks.
