Dear friends,

I have an issue with my build and i'm quite sure that here will be at least one person that will be able to help me.

In my machine i install recently the second graphics card.

The first one is GTX1080Ti and the new one is Quadro P5000.

What i'm trying to do is to have them together to calculate a GPU rendering together in 3D Software (3DSMax2017 + V-Ray 3.60.03)
For some reason no matter what i'm trying (3D, PhotoShop, AfterEffect, Gaming) only the 1080 gets all the load.

From what a developer from V-Ray team (ChaousGroup) told me is that it is possible and will be no issue because the GPU architecture is the same of the bought cards.

The 3D program is found the two GPUs and it it set to run them together... but the Quadro is still gets 0% load.

Is there someone that can help me to fix this issue or to tell me how can i synthetically test the two cards or any way that can lead me out of this issue.

thank you in advanced for anyone that is willing to help!

While they may be identical architecture, the drivers are different and that's probably throwing things off.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

I've heard about running a Quadro in tandem with a consumer card in the same system for encoding purposes but the load is never shared.

I would assume you can't distribute the same process across the two, but I know relatively little about Quadros.
