phone choice

so for almost 2 years now ive had the lg g5 , over the course of time ive upgraded the battery to a 3300 mah cell and have never had any problems with it, it is starting to slow down in some spots and i was thinking if i should upgrade and if i do end up getting a new phone what should i get for 500 usd or less

I'm not too familiar with the low end phone market but I know you get get last years flagships for near that price point. Pixel 2 XL can be bought for about $500 and thats a solid phone.

I actually have no idea. As far as I know, the Razer phone is still being supported

ok thanks for the input, the essential phone is one ill consider but the razor phone looks to clunky and old design for current day to day use

Yeah Linus didn't like it, it's because he doesn't understand it. It's an awesome phone if you use a keyboard on a regular basis (like texting or emails in a heavy use function) and the security is up to the usual corp standards.

I love mine.

EDIT* just realized you said $500 or less...Its rare but i have seen G7's pop up on the used market for near $500
