First PC Build

I'm planning on building this PC for Christmas this year. Any thoughts? Suggestions? I want to be able to play games like GTA V, Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield 1 and V, American Truck Simulator, and Fallout 4/76 at 1080p resolution very comfortably. I'm planning on upgrading to a 1440p monitor as well maybe next year. I would buy a GTX 1080Ti, but the prices are outrageous right now. My budget is around $2500. I'm using it for mainly gaming, not really anything else. Maybe CAD from time to time for my engineering class. I plan on running 1 monitor now, but 3 in the future. I do not need to purchase peripherals.

Fixed it. Sorry about that.

Looks solid but my biggest gripes would have to the be $125 paid for the 2..TWO TB Hdd... You could have easily gotten one for $50-60 bucks. 

Also the motherboard is definitely ROG taxed, there are better alternatives than that one.

that doesn't look like that bad of a build. really solid. however the ASUS z390 boards have not been the best boards on the market. other makers did better this generation.

What motherboard would you guys recommend? I did realize that the motherboard is really damn expensive.

either a gigabyte or asrock imo

I recommend an 8th or 7th generation i7, as the per thread performance are within 5-8% of one another given that they are all Skylake refreshes, and both can be had for a lot cheaper, as can the motherboards.

And as for the motherboard, I recommend anything by Gigabyte or EVGA if you are insisting on 9th gen, however if you do take my advice and go with 7th/8th, I recommend ASUS, EVGA or Gigabyte.
