To wich gpu should I upgrade ?

So I have an i5 4590 a gtx 970 kfa2 16gb ram ddr3 and my psu is a corsair VS 600w with the orange label. So my Parents bought me a 144hz 1440p monitor and I am wondering to wich gpu i should upgrade now

thats true, but I don't really see upgrading to a 4790k as the best choice, but its really only 1 of 2 choices with the other being a new pc since haswell is ddr3.

well, a 4770 or 4790 is still pretty good. it's kinda expensive to go to a ddr4 platform

agreed. ddr4-2400 is $95 here in america though and an intel 545s 256gb ssd is $49, thank god things are actually starting to drop
