but the 2600X should overclock better.

 

Is it worth it for OCeing? no, as you'll barely get any performance gains by doing so. 

 

Get the 2600 if you are fine with overclocking

I got a 2600x on thursday before BF for 229 CAD from amazon. The 2600 was 214.99 CAD at the time so I think it was a no brainer for me. Just to say, there have been some sales on the 2600x. But I certainly would have never paid 100$ more for the 2600x. That is landing you in ryzen 7 territory.
