I think It's time for me to pass from laptop to desktop PC which I didn't use for the past 3 years now. The purpose of this PC is gaming. I'm totally new at building PC's. I was looking for the parts and I came up with this build:

CPU: Intel core I5-9600K 3.7GHz 9 Cache

Case: Corsair Carbide 275R Mid-Tower

Cooler: Cooler Master Masterliquid Lite ML240L

Power Supply: Cooler Master MasterWatt 80 plus bronze, 650w

SSD: Sandisk 480GB

HDD: Seagate 2TB Sata lll 7300rpm

Gpu: MSI Rtx 2070 8GB GDDR6

Ram: Corsair Veangence LPX 16gb (2x8) DDR4 3000mhz

Motherboard: Asrock Z370 EXTREME 4

My question would be if this build would be compatible and if there's something worth replacing. my budget is around 1600-1800 euros (this build itself costs 1610 euros).

Thank You in advance for help!

Congrats on making your move to the PC master race lol. Looks like a decent spec list but kind of mismatched. I would save a little on the current gen GPU or CPU and use the extra cash to get a better power supply (80+ gold). Also, you should check out the Samsung 960 evo 2.5" SSD, the 500GB are going for a very good price right now. Lastly, I can't remember exactly but I think the i5 and i7 9th gen intel chips don't have hyper threading. Not a huge deal but just something to consider. Have you thought about the AM4 platform with a ryzen 2700X?

General nerd and I work in corporate finance. Happy to help!

I recommend using PCPartPicker, it gives you the best price on parts (depending on your region) and will only show you compatible parts with the previous selections you make. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/

Overall that is a solid build but I think that a 240mm AIO is overkill and overpriced for an i5. Also, I recommend not going for that PSU, it is not very well made. A cheap PSU is never worth it.

Thank You for Your suggestions!

I've found Corsair TX650M 80+ Gold, how that one would be?

Regarding the SSD I've done some quick research and heard from a friend that M.2 nvme Samsung SSD 500gb would be better and faster (a lil bit more expensive, but that's fine) is that true with this build?

Regarding the Cooling, what could be better in this case rather than the 240mm one?

Thank You for Your help again!
