Hey guys. I have an issue with my RAM. Just built a system
Ryzen 2600
ASROCK B450 gaming k4
gtx 1060
A-Data XPG Z1 3000mhz 2x8GB
So the issue is that it says it runs in a single channel. Tried all types of setup: A1 A2, A1 B1, A1 B2. Nothing changed. Looked into the BIOS but couldn't find a way to change the mode. Any ideas? The suggested setup for the mobo is A2 B2.

use the suggested setup mentioned in the manual an it will run in dualchannel.

it will then run dualchannel unless one of the sticks arent detected.

I do run it in the suggested setup. It did not run in dual channel. Both sticks are detected in bios. Both are working as I tried them separately.

It's set up for 3000mhz in the bios. In windows it shows that only 8gigs are usable.

running in A1 and B1 gives you the same result?

one of the sticks arent detected properly.

for clarification. does it say only 8 GB usable or does it reqognise that it has 16GB but 8GB is "hardware" reserved?

8,1 GB is hardware reserved meaning one of the sticks arent detected properly. Id try reseating it again and tru moving it to the secondary slot dualchannel slots.

Inspect pins in the dimm slot and see if any are bent or missing. Or try each and every slot with one of the sticks.

That is how far i can help you. I dont have any knowlage outside of that
