Hi Guys

I made a thread a few weeks ago my PSU could be faulty. Basically when I run games at max settings my computer restarts. I've narrowed it down to the psu as I've tested with other parts etc

Can anyone recommend me a good MODULAR PSU? Money isn't  a real problem, but I don't want to waste it

Bit out the loop with PSUs atm

Thanks

George

Depends on what you want to spend. Lately there are a lot of discounts on evga psus, something like a g2 or even t2 should fit in great here. Other ones are the seasonic focus, corsair rmx and hxi, bitfenix whisper and formula gold. To give some examples.

Money isn't much of an issue. If I have to spend £100+ on a good psu then i'll do it! If there is a good deal at £80 on a solid psu then I'll go with that

Disagree, but still. It really depends on your needs. A higher cost psu will have more wattage, will be more effecient, better built, longer warrenty. But do you want a top tier psu or are you fine with a good bronze one? That's not a question I can answer for you

Still doesn't say anything because like LukeSavenije it depends on what features you want or what your minimum standards are

Judging by my build that I linked, with respect I am not going to pair a £40 cheap psu with a 1080ti. Something top tier. Minimum gold eff

One: not all 40 pound psus are bad

But I would suggest looking into the ones I said above, or look at the tier list v3 at the a or s tier
