Gaming on 30 fps

hi i was wondering how to game on 30 fps without my computer going really slow and crashing if u could help me i would really appreciate it

what are the specs of your computer for why you want 30fps? and why is this under console? (just a question as to why this is in console gaming)

Get new stuff. This CPU and memory size is too little to run modern games. By that, I mean even starting them as many refuse to run without 4GB memory detected. This CPU is also way too slow to play anything new.

i dont have the money to upgrade thats why i was wondering how to get my computer to play games as it is i tried to clean it out and see if that makes it a bit better

Nothing will magically accelerate your games.  If you're running an old machine your best bet is just to run older games on it until you can afford something modern.

Even if you can magically speed up the hardware, it may not be compatible with the software because the software is expecting hardware features that older hardware doesn't have.

With old hardware like that, I would just focus on some older games. I would check out some RTS games like the Command and Conquer series, Sim City 4 and below, Sims 3, Civilization IV, and the pre-GTA IV games. Back when I was running a similar rig as my main PC which at the time was quite outdated, those were the kinds of games I would play. I could even play the original COD just fine, although IIRC I did have a dedicated GPU when playing that.

 

I'm hesitant to even recommend looking for any used parts considering just how little you could spend to buy a used Optiplex or something and have a better gaming experience. But if you could find an older used GPU for $10-20 USD, I would give it a shot. Most newer games will still be off the table but it will help run many older games better and help you run some slightly newer games that are currently off the table.
