Ryzen 7 1700x

Msi x370 gaming carbon pro

Cooler Master ML360R

Evga supernova 750w g3 80+ gold

1 tb 860 evo ssd

The problem is that I bought 2 kits of ram. 2 sticks by 8 gigabytes and another one just like that one. Will the ram work okay  on this motherboard? And also need some suggestions on the case and gpu.

I don't plan on gaming.

Generally, buying two of the same kits is the next best thing to buying one kit of 4 sticks. What RAM did you buy?

My Build, v2.1 --- CPU: i7-8700K @ 5.2GHz/1.288v || MoBo: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming || RAM: 4x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 2666 14-14-14-33 || Cooler: Custom Loop || GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black, on water || PSU: EVGA G2 850W || Case: Corsair 450D || SSD: 850 Evo 250GB, Intel 660p 2TB || Storage: WD Blue 2TB || G502 & Glorious PCGR Fully Custom 80% Keyboard || MX34VQ, PG278Q, PB278Q

Audio --- Headphones: Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX || Amp: Schiit Audio Magni 3 || DAC: Schiit Audio Modi 3 || Mic: Blue Yeti

[Under Construction]

My Truck --- 2002 F-350 7.3 Powerstroke || 6-speed

My Car --- 2006 Mustang GT || 5-speed || BBK LTs, O/R X, MBRP Cat-back || BBK Lowering Springs, LCAs || 2007 GT500 wheels w/ 245s/285s

The Experiment --- CPU: i5-3570K @ 4.0 GHz || MoBo: Asus P8Z77-V LK || RAM: 16GB Corsair 1600 4x4 || Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo || GPUs: Asus GTX 750 Ti, || PSU: Corsair TX750M Gold || Case: Thermaltake Core G21 TG || SSD: 840 Pro 128GB || HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

R.I.P. Asus X99-A motherboard, April 2016 - October 2018, may you rest in peace. 5820K, if I ever buy you a new board, it'll be a good one.

I don't plan on gaming.

Its better if you provide more information.

Browsing webpages also counted as not gaming.

32gb of ram is not required. Otherwise its fine

Agree, 4gb good for browsing and office work.

8gb good for lite gaming. <--- most people

16gb good for heavy gaming and lite editing. <--- comfort

32gb good for heavy editing and 3d.

I have some specific work to do . I have a Tms ( transportion management system) open and about 40 tabs open at a time . My older machine had 16 gb of ddr4 3000 , and It wasn’t enough. Or maybe it was the cpu Ryzen 3  ? that was weak? Either way , I need a better pc than that .

Update the browser, i had 100+ tabs opened everyday and the ram never touched 8gb.

Some chrome updates using more rams then it suppose to.

I once experienced memory leak in chrome, where the memory would build up over time, it will be gone if i restart the browser, and after update it is gone.

Experiment with other browsers like firefox or vivaldi.

Check your task manager for memory information.

If the page have java aplet or flash player, you may need more than the normal.

But most of modern webpages don't use that anymore, it should be light.

16gb is recommended.

I say better check the software first before spending on 32gb.

Yeah my 16gb memory, browsing including gaming Shadow of tomb raider, it still has 2-3 gb left.

So 16gb to me is still good enough.
