Here is my Current Setup. This was my first build ever. I actually built this rig specifically for Battlefield 3 and it ran it awesomely.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10 GHZ
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LE Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 560 1GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($57.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK III 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($79.98 @ OutletPC)
Optical Drive: Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer  ($30.87 @ Amazon)

Firstly, that HAF case has to go. It is soooooo UGLY! I am probably going to change to this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146092

Secondly the power supply has to be upped to something better if im wanting to get a new GPU. Im not sure which power supply yet.

Thirdly, right now im looking to upgrade to a GTX 760. Although I am not sure if that will be future proof for say the next 4 years.

When I transfer most of my current setup to my new NZXT phantom 410 case, I will probably change the powersupply and the GPU.

maybe get a 770 instead and change the other stuff to something cheaper or just wait because a 770 is pretty much 680 but newer so... think about that but that's what i think

Hey man, this was built late 2012. Around the time Battlefield 3 came out. I was on a budget and well it ran battlefield 3 at really good settings lol. I knew I would need an upgrade though.

I can run anything on high-ultra with it :D.I have a 1680x1050 monitor,which isn't exactly 1080p but close enough!

I need an upgrade too.

what is the difference between a 780 ti and a 780?

it would a difference, and look at the prices they usually indicate how much of a performance jump it is(the more the faster)

Gotcha, and what power supply should I raise too. Any other changes you would recommend?

it depends what Graphics card you choose to go with and i always recommend corsairs power supplies mainly their cx series but any of their power supplies are good

picking a graphics card will never be futherproof this is because of how often they release them, the new gpus are meant to be coming out later this year, so who knows what will happen in that case..

also, will get harder and harder to run as time goes by because they will be higher detailed..

if you want to play games on medium to high now the 760 will do fine but in a few years you will be stuck on low..

you could always get the asus 760 mars edition (sli 760 in one)
