Help me join the master race i gave my xbox away i bought imac but returned it shortly after

I have never build a pc before but I have watched tons of guides and tips. I discovered pcpartpicker so i know which hardware is compatible to whic but still have no idea what cpu, psu etc. I should buy without overpaying for what i need. Basically i want a white color theme so i go with arctic white motherboard in a corsair mid tower white case and a budget of $650 for graphic card so maybe i go for 1070ti or 1080 if it costs $650 or less idk. Its for 4k monitor for (hobby) photoshop or video editing and i can say im a semi hardcore gamer because i play games for 4-8 hours a day but I only play few game titles but the big ones like bf5, pubg dota, guildwars2 etc. Anyone can advise me on this build budget is 2k excluding the monitor, keyboard, mouse & speaker. I dont know which cpu, power supply, ssd and ram sticks that goes with it. Thanks guys

I would try to squeeze in 32GB of RAM if you do a lot of phot/video editing. If your absolute budget is 2k, you can look for a used 1080 Ti which would hopefully save you $100+. Man, I always forget how bad the Canadian dollar is.

Thank you so much i can see it was mostly for good video card and good memory perfect for gaming and hobby editing but can i change the mobo and memory sticks to white color and i want the white corsair mid tower case i want it white themed to be exact but graphic card ssd and  psu can be any color since a small back and silver and gold color is a good accent to white color i tried building in pcpp.com but i was worrying that i overspent some parts i dont really need... thanks

Sorry I forgot about that. The board you link is an intel board. MSI does make other boards, just look for a B450 or X470 motherboard
