Help with Office PC Build

So my dad’s computer is about 12 years old it a 2 Core/2 Thread at 2.0 GHz, And of course that’s super slow I want to build him a newer computer.  All he does is his office work using MS word, spreadsheet, email, web(YouTube, facebooks and so on) and accounting.  

 

 Is there anyone that can help me with the motherboard and CPU I guess with an integrated graphics card since he’s not going to game so there’s no point of a GPU unless there’s cheap GPUs out there.  I don’t want to super expensive CPU and motherboard just a budget.

He needs RAM too.

 

I'd honestly just put in an SSD to make everything snappy, a new install of Windows and let her rip.  If that's all he does, and it was fine for 12 years.... an SSD is all he really needs.

he just asked for a CPU and Mobo combo... but in the case of ram he'd just need 8gb at most... and a small maybe 240gb ssd and carry over the HDD

Or can someone build me a system I know it’s a lot to ask I’m trying to build it on PC part picker but my mind is blown with so many motherboards and different parts

 Yeah I’m going to Kelona is hard drive to the SST and then wiped the one terabyte hard drive but he has for extra storage

prebuilts aren't the worst choice then. i know people hate doing it, but bestbuy has some rather cheap prebuilts right now.

I truly want to build a system for him and want to go and buy I went to park speaker and it says that the gigabyte MOBO and Ryzen 3 2200 g are incompatible

2600 is kinda overkill don't you think? Unless that is what you are going for. You can save the $45 on the GT 710 and get a 2400G.

The reason I picked that is because both of them are the same price and I rather him have a better CPU case he wants to do more.

Ok yeah the 2600 is better but you save yourself from buying a worse GPU than Vega 11.

It’s all right about the GPU all he needs is an output to his monitor I do have a GTX 1050 from my old rig am I just put that in instead of the GT710

Doesn't really matter because he's doing office work. But it's typically better to go with two dimms, unless you know for sure you will upgrade in the future. This is assuming you only have two dimm slots.

Seems fine. I'd go with a CX450 (2017) instead.
