SSD and HDD Dual Boot Setup

Go to solution Solved by brob,

Most Linux variants are able to mount and work with NTFS partitions.

I am planning on using a 2TB HDD for games and other programs and a 250GB SSD to store Ubuntu and Windows 10. I am wondering how this setup would work. Since the HDD will be accessible from both operating systems and is not partitioned for either one like the SSD, will this cause problems with Windows files that are unreadable in Linux to appear when I am using Linux. If this is the case, it probably won't be an issue but if it is, is there a way to use the HDD so that each OS uses it independent of the other?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
