How to revive old PC builds

Beezly

It'd be cool to see how to revive old ddr3 PC's like the Asus rampage 3 or if it's even worth it.

I did it to replace a 2nd gen i5 laptop that I was using to try and play games (onboard graphics were terrible) and build a system around a Core2Quad Q6600.

Could run a surprising number of games actually pretty well... Especially for something that cost a total of £57 to build...

I will only ever answer to the best of my ability - there is absolutely no promises that I will be correct. Or helpful. At all.
