Ideal size for a 1080p monitor

GOD MAN

That's pretty far away from a monitor. Normally I wouldn't recommend over 24" for 1080p, but you should probably go for 27".

27" usually looks a little blurry unless you're far away from it (3ft away for example). I'd suggest 24" if you can move it closer.

Depends on how deep your desk is, I think mine is 23 or 24" but I have a shallower desk now than I used to at the old place i lived, so now it's too big, and I can't get it far enough away from me, and I actually think it's screwing up my eyes.

Don't go about 27 normal. Even a 34in ultrawide might be pushing it. Imagine you're sitting 2 feet in front of a 32in TV and imagine the pain you'd feel trying to track the noticable pixels. 4k would be where you start going to 27 or above where the pixel density starts to even out to be the same. It's like if you had a 70in 1080p vs a 70in 4k, the difference would be VERY noticable
