Hey Guys!

So I recently planned a Gaming RIG and its parts will be shipped anytime. The thing is, I just don't have a single PC, and I want to know how to properly utilize them according to the workload.

I have

So now the question is that how do i use them, according to my activities:

1. Gaming

2. Programming (c/c++ and java)

3. Watching YouTube and also upload videos

4. Talk on Forums like this one

5. Have a PC for experimenting overclocks and temperature stuff

Now besides my Gaming RIG build, I will probably purchase a Core 2 Quad PC too, so tell me if I should put each activity to a single PC

Hoping for a positive response,

-Basil

ok so unlike other earlier responds i have a thought on how you could utilize those systems

1. Core 2 Duo with an HD 5450, for

     -experimenting overclocks and temperature stuff

     -Gaming

2. Pentium 4 with no graphics card, (i have an old geforce laying around), for

-Talk on Forums like this one

3. Another Pentium 4 with no graphics card,

-Watching YouTube and also upload videos

4. Pentium 3 with no graphics card (buying a cheap gpu for 720p is easy on ebay)

     -Programming (c/c++ and java)

no need for a better system, unless if you are hardcore triple A class gamer or a MLG Pro player at CS:GO or Fortnite or PUBG using that Core 2 Duo HD 5450 system.

wait i have a question, will you edit those videos that you are gonna upload?

also for faster load times, get a SSD for each system

Well, all your systems are pretty much garbage for today. Buy a Q6600 and slap a decent air cooler on it and overclock the shit out of it.

And I have no idea what you mean about.

Are you talking about your 4 pentiums? They are useless. Won't do anything except run Windows 98.

What are your new build specs?

hi.

Get a Zen+ based CPU. Same price practically for higher clock speed. Ryzen 5 2600X.

And perhaps if you want that over clocking, something from X370 or X470 lineup of motherboards. Whichever brand floats your boat.

I am on a budget and also on a normal NOT extreme overclocking experience as i do not want to really shorten my components' lifetime, but yeah it would be okay if i wasn't on a budget.

He can overclock just fine on any b350 motherboard, it's not like Intel that you have to buy top tier motherboard for OCing.

AND yes, you are right 'WIKI'. Intel is really taking its market way ahead than AMD....like from 2010 to 2011 pins??? - WHY??

You actually solved my problem, I mean that is the best config for the PCs i can think of, Thanks bruh.

And I will try to overclock the systems, cause I really need that hidden JUICE inside!

Yeah I will use Core 2 duo for low spec games and benchmarks when my new Gaming PC has games being installed!

Well, I will be recording my gameplay and posting on YouTube (with some stickman animation in between - maybe - not sure) after, YES, EDITING them on some Adobe or Camtasia software (I will use the Gaming PC for editing). And if you're thinking the system will drop fps for recording, then NO. Cause I can use the core 2 duo pc for using a capture card (that requires a second PC for review/config stuff).

And the SSD will probably not make a change - FOR ME - i mean nothing will be urgent or very critical, so I guess an HDD will do the work done!

You are welcome! Utilize those PC as their capabilities so you won't have to spend money just to get better experience on doing your activities.
