Help installing cyanogenmod

Can you guys lead me through the process of installing cyanogenmod. I've never done this and it seems bit complicated my phone is Atrix hd mb886.

My device is not supported on the the device installer.

then you are going to have to 

1. unlock the bootloader

2. install a custom recovery

3. root the device

4. install the rom and gapps files
