Wireless Charging with Cooling

I've seen some wireless chargers with cooling fans but is it a gimmick or does it truly help with the heat issue? Just wondering if it would be better to get one with a fan to potentially help my battery life.

i don't see how the heat would be any more harmfull then the heat your phone itself produces when under load. i would just go with the charger that looks best on your desk.
