R1 Ultimate + Strix Z370F ?

Hi,

 

Has anyone got a z370f + r1 ultimate? Does the io cover (the plastic bit over the io) clear the r1 ? 

 

Also, does vemgeance LPX fit under the cooler?

 

Website doesnt seem to be very helpful.....

It'll clear the memory, you might need to remove the plastic shroud; my roommate has a Z370 Gaming 7, and he had to remove his.

You might be able to play with the fan height a bit to get it to work. The R1 Universal has better clearance.

LPX is standard height ram which nearly all coolers are designed to clear. The R1 is no different. 

There doesn't seem to be any issue with the R1 on other similar Asus motherboards so it'll probably work in your case as well.
