RGB fans that look good in Pull config.

Hi

Are there any fans that look good in pull configuration? every thing I have found to date has the motor mount on the pull side.

Push side view:

The vast majority of fans have the motor on the pull side. Are there any RGB fans with the motor on the push side. I can see this a being most useful for static pressure or radiator fans.

The HDs look pretty good from the back due to the clear housing.

The only fans that I can think of besides the HDs from Corsair are some from Deep Cool (I know they showed them off at CES back in 2016, but I don't know if they ever came out) that will get you nothing as far as performance.

The HDs aren't bad but they are not compatible with the built-in RGB controller on my motherboard and I don't really want to mix controllers. I wish Corsair would learn to play nice with others.

InWin polaris fans will work with RGB headers and the one version has a aluminium frame.

InWin also makes addressable RGB fans too, These are the aurora series. They require 5v headers.

you also have Mars which will allow you to double stack the Fans:

I have the InWin Polaris Fans. The ability to daisy-chain them is great and the look great in push. I just wish they would ship a second short connector in the two fan kit so you could daisy-chain four together easily.

If you know how to crimp cables, those cables are very easy to make.

Shame they don't make them in 140mm.

I will be very easy to connect the corsair HD fans to the motherboard and sync them with the RGB fusion (or whatever gigabyte uses) you'll only need scissors, tape (anything will do) and a spare RGB cable. I can do you a guide if you want.

Also be aware the corsair HD/SP fans have a pretty horrible acoustic profile.

As for the inwin fans, you could likely cut the cable down with scissors and tape again. Although both mods will lose your warranty. If you can solder, though it can remain intact. My corsair fan hub is still 100% new and undamaged despite being run off an arduino for most of its life.

Just another thing, idk what fans they are or if they are rgb, but the fans in the 2nd video on this thread look quite good.

They are Corsair fans. They might be ML Pro LED Edition (RED, White or Blue).

From the part of the video I watched they were green. Maybe we are talking about different videos, idk.

hmmm idk. My sp120 rgb fans had fairly good bleed through to the outlet side. Although I have them in push config atm.

ML120rgb would be a much better choice, as the ML fans have a nicer sound signature than the sp/hd fans.
