trasnfering files

hi im just wondering i have a old pc that i would like to store files off my gaming pc to another pc 


i used a lan cable and it cuts my wifi off and i can turn it back untill i unplug the cable so im just wondering if i got a pci-e lan card would it stop from cutting my wifi off ?

amd fx 6300  @4.4ghz @1.4/ga-970a-ud3/HD78702gb /antec 620w psu

Tried plugging the PC you are storing data on to the wireless router with a LAN cable and then connecting to it from your gaming PC over wifi?
