ASUS H110-I/G11CD/DP_MB & i7 7700k

Hey, I'm one of those stupid guys I forgot to look up if the CPU would fit my motherboard lol. Theyre both 1151. But people are saying I need to update my BIOS to make it fit my motherboard.
I currently have i5 6400.

But I can not find anything about this. Pls help! xoxo.

(I know this was a stupid purchase but lets just make the best out of it, No im not overclocking the board is to bad)

You need to update the BIOS. Then it should work.

if it's bought from before kabylake then it'll need a bios update.

Step one: test if you really nead to do a BIOS update, just pop the i7 7700K in and see if it works

Step two (if step one didn't work) put your I5 in boot it and update the BiOS

Step three: Drink a coffee to relax.

Tbh I'm not even sure if this is the motherboard I have since I cant update with any of the things from the asus website. Any program I just use to find my motherboard just calls it G11CD ..

Extract it winrar and place it anywhere you like

Check if the BIOS version is the same as the one you are updating to.

How do I do this? It just says 0802. America Megetrends.

same problem here, the technical service of asus continue to answer that this mb support 7th gen. But nothing work. Any solution?

Hello, new user here! Anyway, I found the correct bios for the motherboard. Look for BIOS number 0905 from their support website.
