Laptop Charging

Okay so I recent got a GS63VR and it has a usb-C port and i was wondering if it was possible to charge the laptop through it  you know while its off say.... during  class when i cant find a plug? I want to know this before i pick up the 20000mAh battery bank

If it charges through a power brick, then it's likely not going to charge through it's Type C port. However, if it has the PD label, it will.

 

Although some laptops don't label their USB ports, so it's best to check the owner's manual.

Generally if it charges through a power brick and it has a USB type C connector for input, then it should work. But make sure to check the owners manual, because since that the majority of laptop manufacturers dont label their USB ports, make sure to check if it supports charging through USB type C.
