To anyone interested in that game, they give you a steam key and a DRM free download as well, which is pretty cool.  I don't recall seeing that from humble bundle before.

What do you mean?  You've seen them do that before?  I mean, I wouldn't be surprised; not for a second do I think my experience is representative of all bundles ever  but I can say I've not personally seen it happen before.

Actually now that I look back through my history, it has come up a number of times... I guess I just never noticed it before  

That said, it does seem to be only for certain select games so you never know what you'll get

I think it's only for independent developers as I can't find any for larger publishers.

Well, I'd imagine it's for any dev who tells them they are cool with giving out a DRM free version and then do so, and it may just be that indie devs are more likely to do this.

All my past free Humble Bundle purchases are steam keys. Yes they were purchases.
