Closest to default android smartphones.

Hello, I'm currently rocking iPhone 5s and am thinking about switching to a new phone soon enough due my battery not lasting even 6 hours with not so intensive use and additional effort needed to transfer music and videos as to opposite on Android phones.  

So I'm looking for a new android phone that's snappy, has a great camera (at least the quality of an iPhone 5s camera) and is as close to the default android as possible.

I really do fancy the looks of Samsung Galaxy S8 and since it's quite a "mainstream" phone, I can get one barely used for around 450 euros (which is great, I don't think I am willing to spend more on a phone so I will look for used ones) but the thing with Samsung phones are, that they have a little lag/delay when swiping through home screen / your app icons. My friends think I'm insane since they don't see anything like it but what matters is that I see it and it gets on my nerves - had a galaxy s4 which was lagging like crazy, and my friends have an galaxy s5 / s6/ s7 and they all feel laggy when browsing through icons for me.

Would you have any android smartphone recommendations for me? I don't care which brand it's from as long as it's a great phone. The perfect example of my desires would be Google Pixel but they are expensive af.

i agree except for Axon 7, software sucks.

Yeah but the phone itself isn't that bad. And the nougat update made it a little closer to stock.

Playing with my friends Galaxy S8 I didn't see a single piece of stock android. Samsung's software still uses one of the heaviest skins around.

If you want stock android you need to get a Pixel. I love mine and it is easily the best phone I have used.

As I mentioned in my main post, Google Pixel would be my way to go but it's expensive af.
