Price is good but they are 2 years late to the game since the PG279Q has been out for long time

The PG279Q is like twice as expensive (in switzerland anyway) + it's G-Sync not Freesync but don't u worry :D.

It's 24" and not IPS. So the claim is still valid.

Ah well meant it as far as res. and Freesync range.

Dear God...

Then again, if you include the TV I have in my living room I guess I have 2 24", the 13.3" laptop and a 50" TV.

Why two ultrawides?

The more I think about it, the more I think I'll be going with the 2 27" screens. Easier to run games on.

I think the question is... why not 2 ultrawides? The middle one is obvs for gaming, I almost always have Spotify, Discord, HWMonitor, Steam/Origin/Twitch Launcher which is all in all enough for 1 monitor. I want to stream so that'll take up a good portion plus... I didn't just build a 7.5 feet wide desk with a width of 36 inches for nothing lol.

Gave myself a $2000 budget for Monitors and GPU. I likely won't need to go past $1,700 plus since I am selling my GPU it'll be closer to like $1,500

I disagree, but each to their own.

How do you find having two monitors of different resolutions? I've only ever had matching. Do you find any issues when moving a window from one to the other?

It's 24" and not IPS. So the claim is still valid.

I can tell you from experience. Moving between a 1080p and 3440x1440p UW on amd eyefinity is effortless once you spend 20 minutes adjusting for bezel sizes...

But if you want to do it on Nvidia you better pray that you won't have to upgrade your drivers ever again. Because NVCP/GFE is a nightmare to adjust the screens with, and if you update your drivers you have to do it all over again

With that size of gaming desk ... Have you seen Barnacles' 3 x 50" 4K monitor setup? Check YouTube for it. )OK, so it may be a bit more than your stated budget, but what else are you going to use that flight-deck of a desk for?

2 34" ultrawides and a 27" panel will take up most of it plus my PC being on it

Haha, not bad. You'll have to show it off when it's complete!

Makes sense I guess, I hardly have anything open at the same time so my real estate requirements are a lot smaller.

Though I do want a couple of large 4k monitors for spreadsheets...maybe in a couple years.

Hmmm, that's good to know. I'm hoping that Vega is good, and priced aggressively.
