DELL U2717D - Is this a lot backlight bleed?

Hello

I've just bought a DELL U2717D. Very happy with the colours and the size. However as usual there is IPS glow and backlight bleed.

I was wondering if my panel has a normal amount of backlight bleed. I have the feeling there's a lot of backlight bleeding. It's visible when using the screen in the evening with dark backgrounds.

The white spot on the screen is my cursor.

-- Thanks

UPDATE: The images highlight the bleeding much more then in reality.

so.. i still have a dell ultrasharp sitting on a shelf, and it doesnt have even the slightest backlight bleed.. i wouldnt call this normal, if you just bought it it may be worth to contact the store you bought this from and ask their opinion on the matter.

We can't tell how much bleed that is, because cameras automatically exaggerate differences in brightness when in a dark scenario. You'll need to take pictures with the lights on, preferably standing back from the monitor so that more objects with standard lighting appear in the picture so the camera has a better reference point for lighting. Try to get it to look as close to real life as possible.

I've took a picture with my lights on.

If that's how it looks in real life it looks pretty normal to me.

The blue tint is more yellow. Thanks for your help and opinion.
