Hi! I wanted to know if you can make your pc function as a wifi router. My friend only has one LAN port in his room, and he wants to use that lan port for his PC but that means he won't have any wifi in his room. Is there any extension card that allows a PC to turn into a wireless router?

If you just need more ports, get a switch. If you need WiFi, you'll want to buy an access point. If there's already a router on the network, don't add another as it can cause conflicts. You'd only need the access point part for providing a WiFi signal.

Your friend should go on slickdeals and find a cheap router. Its going to be like $20 or $30...

Buy another router and disable DHCP and NAT. You can use the built-in wi-fi from the router and use the router itself as a switch (don't plug anything in the wan port, everything in the lan ports).
