PC/Games are suddenly crashing

ok so my PC has been running fine for the last few weeks (one day it had a weird screen that looked like this https://goo.gl/images/8OD1qj exept the lines were vertical and on the same day windows restarted and fixed it) now after following this OC guild  https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?86398-Strix-GTX-1070-Overclocking-Guide and now my PC cant even run CSGO which is CPU intensive i have the 6700k with a kraken x52 nor rainbow 6 seige or witcher 3 and when i played rainbow eariler today every two secounds the screen and audio stopped for a split secound than went back to normal and i was wondering if i freid my GPU with to much voltage even though pascle chips have regulators (here are two threads asking bout this https://tinyurl.com/lfxul6z and https://tinyurl.com/m4febve) i know its not bottlenecking because i have the 6700k and a 650 watt 80+ titanium PSU with 16gb DDR4 3000mhz and when playing these games only the GPU was overclocked. so i think i brunt my GPU but i want to know what you guys thought (i downloaded the lastest drivers today for the GPU) oh and one more thing that might be affecting it is that today i downloaded the software that comes with my motherboard (ASUS Z270-H) like ROG game frist,IV, ROG ram cache, ROG cpu-z and GPU-z and maybe that was slowing it down, turned off malwarebytes but not avast, at first my GPU could run heavan benchmark no problem now it cant even run it for two secounds and my CPU was not overclocked during any of this so its probably obvious by now but i think i did something to my GPU and if i did how do i do a hard reset or reset windows without losing files and if there is what will it reset

Thanks

Artifacting is usually because the GPU is dying (slowly). Take out the GPU and use the integrated graphics to check if it still occurs.

CPU: Intel Core I7 7700K & Corsair H100i v2
Mobo: Asus Maximus IX Hero
RAM: 32 Gigs @ 3000Mhz, Corsair Dominator Platinum
GPU: Asus Strix 1080 A8G
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500gb
PSU: Corsair HX750i
Case: Fractal Design Define S

Can you try out your GPU in someone else's PC? That'd be of help.

keep your eye on it. if a card can't run properly at the factory settings I would return the card. It probably won't last long.

Maybe your PSU isn't giving it enough power at full clocks...

(Even capable PSU's have problems)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

No I have a 650w 80plus titanium and I just lowered the OC and it runs heaven just fine with everything at max on 1440x2560 except the anti-alissing was a 2x and it got a 92fps average
