optical drive bay cassette reader

I have a bit of a unique issue.

I'm into alot of old 'garage band' (not the apple software, actual bands in garages) music from the days of cassette. I've seen cassette to usb devices, but after spending so much on the looks of my pc, id rather not have to have a cable hanging out of my case all of the time. Do yiu guys know of any front mounted solutions, maybe one that uses the optical drive bays?

Just your standard compact cassette.

I'm not sure if this helps, but if you don't want the cable hanging out all the time you can put the cable on the inside.

Ive seen this, and while appreciated, it's not really the solution im hoping for

well, the only reference i found is the "plus deck cassette converter"

 

which.. kinda.. has gone the way of the dinousaurs, so you'll have to dig one up second hand, and probably end up having to do funky stuff to get it even workig with a modern system.
