EVGA 1080 SC SLi

SHADY16

So my friend is having secound thoughts about trading me his 1080 Ti so im thinking about grabbing a 2nd EVGA 1080 SC for around 500$ but i have a few questions. will my corsair RM 750 be enough? and what can i expect temps to be with having both of them sandwhiched together which is only thing my case supports.  my current 1080 gets to about 72c with fans at 80-100%

Remove the second card's backplate, so that the top card has more room to breathe :D

your motherboard is a full ATX
, the two cards wont be sandwiched together, you'll have a whole PCIe slot gap between your two GPUs

what case do you have?

well the last pcie slot is at the bottom and my motherboard comes very close to my psu so theres not enough room for it. i have the corsair 200R

do not use the last PCIe slot, that only runs at 4x

theres a black PCIe 16x slot that you should use , this way your GPUs will both run at 8x and 8x

Just get an fe card and put it on top. Temps are gonna be higher over all. Especially with two open air coolers. Psu should be fine.

Well do what I did, buy an sc and slap a blower on it.

Or just try it out first and see if the temps are that bad.
