is 550w enough for...

Imaginary Friend

a 970 and an i5 4690k.

i won't be ocing or anything like that.

right now i'm using the evga 550w supernova v2 to power the parts but this weekend i might go and buy a psu over that watt number.

so should i save my money or go and buy a new one cuz my current one works fine but i wondered if there's something that would happen in the future.

save your money for now, 550w is enough for a titan X pascal and an i7 with overclocking headroom. upgrade to a 750w when you are gonna do SLI/crossfire.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

that's perfectly fine. I run an OC'd 4670k and a 1070 on a 520W unit.

What exact unit is it? G2, NEX, etc?

idk

A good quality 350W would be more than plenty for those.

Saldy there are no good quality 350W units around, maybe one or two in total...
