K I think I'll go with the 1050 Ti then thanks

So I have been looking at some 2 go ddr5 cards and came across the rx460 and gtx1050. Which one preforms best for the price? The rx460 and gtx1050 have about a 20$ price difference, the 1050 being most expensive out of the 2. Which one do I buy?

How about used market?

What do you need them for?

look at benchmarks. it will probably relevant to look at games that you actually want to play. i would hover try and find updated benchmarks from after some of the newer drivers as alot of the rx series cards have gained quite a bit of performance gains on nvidia as a result.

I would look for benchmarks in the applications you intend to use.

AMDs power shows mostly on high end things, cause liquid VR, DX12 performance, Crossfire, Vulkan all these are out of RX460s league, while NVidia performs pretty well no matter what league we're talking about.
I'd suggest GTX1050

@SirFlamenco So would the 4gb versions on these cards be more worth it? Like the 1050 Ti or Rx460 4gb

The 1050Ti is better.

Ti also means boost to it's GPU, while the RX 460 only gets an extra memory chip.
1050Ti is better.
