CPU fan not working when on CPU header

If you just want a cheap fix, you can usually disable the CPU fan error in the BIOS settings.

So its not spinning, and when on psu directly it works. We'd say hey it works but mobo wont let us past boot screen saying CPU fan error. My psu has a weird connector that looks like a fan connector. If I plug that into the cpu fan header what would that do?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
