Scaling might be an issue, text would not be as clear - kind of a waste tbh

why not just run 4k on a 4k monitor?
or if your computer has trouble running that resolution for games etc then just buy a 1440p monitor?

Because it looks nice on the desktop.

HI all.

I just cracked my rog swift pg278q, I was thinking about getting rog swift pg27uq but the uq is 4k where i have been uising 1440p on the q, sooo dose anyone know if 1440p looks just the same or wose on a 4k screen that is the same size as the other one.

do you mean to ask

does 1440p look good on a 27inch 1440p monitor?
or

does 1440p look good on a 27inch 4k monitor?

Not really because the amounts of pixels is a different ratio so some digital pixels will be cut in half accross physical pixels.

That's correct.

So if the other one bugs you, then stick with a 1440p monitor.

The game it self looks the same but the color is a bit off but the thing that gived it away was the mouse loading cursor.

No. But I have those games so I can get them for you.

Also I took those pictures with the camera within 3 inches of the monitor. So it's actually unrealistic as far as viewing distance goes.
