Corsair Raptop HS40 USB problem.

refinedskillz

I have a pair of Corsair Raptor HS40 headphones, they connect via USB, but when plugged in, disconnect after a while, the sound volume is then reset too really loud so it makes the headphones pretty much unusable. Anyone would know a fix?

Is the headset brand new? or it has been 2-3 years of usage?

and are there drivers for it? update it if there are any newer version of it...

Usually, if the USB loves to randomly connect and disconnect anytime, its a sign of USB failure and the headset is deteriorating, well in my experience with USB stuff.

Have you tried in a different pc? if the problem still exist, you got the faulty one, just RMA them or refund if you can and get something better.
