Looking for new Mouse and Keyboard

mbryant

I currently have a Cyborg R.A.T 3 which I bought back in 2010 and it's the most "gamery" thing I own. I'm not a fan of the "gamer" aesthetic overall but I do like the R.A.T series. I don't need to upgrade as the mouse still works fine but I figured mixing it up wouldn't be a bad thing to do.  Last may I bought a G502 and didn't keep it because it felt weird.

I also have an AULA Demon King keyboard which is only about a year old and I LOVE it but I'd like something with back lights and blue switches, I love blue switches. Again not a fan of "gamer" aesthetics so keep that in mind with recommendations, but I'm always performance first so if the performance is great then I'll consider it.

Thanks guys!

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

G402? Like the 502 (same sensor) but a much more understated look

are the ergonomics the same? If I remember right my issue with the 502 was the thumb rest area. Very uncomfortable

Handsize and gripstyle?

Btw I noticed that many people were recommending the G402 but you mention the G502 felt weird. Here is a side by side photo (slightly different angle).

yeah I saw that when I googled it, the 402 seems very similar in terms of grip style, I don't know I might get another from the R.A.T series lol
