How does the CS:GO ranking system works?

Terobich

I'm tired, I began as a silver 3, but then I went into a bad time, so I deranked to silver 2, I've been winning and winning and I have just lost one, so, how does this works?

Thanx btw

Keep winning and wait for the rank up. I believe it has something to do  with how well you did in game as well. (After 800 hours you'd think I'd know)

Officially nobody knows about it, and it depends on a lot of different factors, such as MVP stars and the rank you have been playing against. Still it seems kinds random to me. I had an account on Silver 1, played with a friend against MG and didn't get an uprank after a win streak of 7-8 games...

It's based on the ELO rating system.

So you can derank even if you win if you did poorly.
