ZOTAC GTX 1060 AMP! not recognized

I just finished building my first pc and after installing windows 10, everything works fine,

Then, I install my gtx 1060 zotac amp edition to the motherboard (MSI B150M Mortar), the 6-pin power connected and I tried connecting the HDMI port on the GPU to the monitor, I get a blank screen.

I even connected the HDMI to the motherboard, but it is not working now.

I got the same thing while building my friends pc, all i did is simply take the video card out and put it back in. that seemed to fix it for me

enter bios and seek out the graphics solution. make it point to the card. save changes and reboot. ( read booklet that came with the motherboard ).

The PC doesn't give a display to be seen when the GPU is connected.

And the ZOTAC logo isnt glowing white

can you disconnect the wi-fi?

try the card in the 4x slot to see if it works.

maybe MB, maybe card itself...??

i want to know if the card works. if it works ( regardless of bottleneck ) then the motherboard is toast.

Just noticed another thing.

With the GPU removed, I tried to connect the motherboard's HDMI to the monitor and removed the without the d-sub cable and the display output is not recognized.

Any solution?

you must be out to lunch?......... anyways, besides the last two comments ( suggestions ).......... pull everything out of the case and breadboard the system. may be a simple grounding problem..??

if the logo isnt lighting up, there may be something wrong with the card, has it worked for you at all?

also, can we get the rest of your system specs?
